Steaven, our role model and inspiration, has developed over one hundred commercial properties, primarily in Southern California since starting the company in 1965. He pioneered the concept of an automotive care mall in 1975 and was one of the first to develop creative office space in 1990.

A graduate of Baylor School in Chattanooga, MS, Ole Miss and Harvard Business School, Steaven is an active philanthropist in the Los Angeles area. He currently serves as a Trustee of St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica and is a long-time supporter of The People Concern, an agency providing shelter and services for the homeless.  He also co-founded FlyawayHomes in order to build permanent supportive housing to help ensure everyone in Los Angeles is housed, healthy and safe.

Lawry has been with the company since 1990 and is responsible for its day-to-day management. During her career, she has developed or significantly redeveloped 21 projects. Lawry graduated from Marlborough School, Wellesley College and Harvard Business School. She previously worked as an assistant project manager at Trammell Crow Company. She is an independent trustee for Causeway Capital, an investment management firm specializing in international mutual funds.

Lawry also is on the board of a number of not-for-profit organizations, such St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and St. John’s Health Center Foundation, and is a former Trustee of Wellesley College. In 2016, she co-founded FlyawayHomes in order to build permanent supportive housing to help ensure everyone in Los Angeles is housed, healthy and safe.

Barrett joined the Company in 2017 and oversees all leasing and marketing at the properties. He brought with him three years of experience working for Marcus & Millichap and JLL. Growing up on the Westside of Los Angeles, Barrett graduated from Harvard-Westlake and Hamilton College.

Barrett is currently on the board of The People Concern, an agency providing shelter and services for the homeless. Barrett enjoys anything competitive — playing lacrosse, golf, and pickle, as well as walks on the beach, staying current with scientific discoveries, and re-exploring his hometown.

Responsible for all financial operations of the company, Barry has over thirty years of real estate operations, development, finance, tax, accounting and reporting experience. Barry grew up in Buffalo and Fountain Valley before earning his B.S. from the University of Southern California School of Accounting.  He started in public accounting with Kenneth Leventhal, and became a Certified Public Accountant.  

Since that time, he has worked with large and small residential, commercial, and hospitality investment, development, and management companies, such as Lowe Enterprises.  Barry enjoys time with family and friends, and he is an avid fan of hockey, sports and trivia.

With over 15 years of property management experience, Joy manages the operations of all properties. Utilizing her background in the five-star hotel industry, Joy understands the value of customer service in her daily tenant relations. Joy has managed a variety of properties ranging from the revitalization of residential and commercial property in downtown Los Angeles to managing several million square feet of Southern California Class A & B commercial / industrial real estate portfolios.

Joy is a member of South Bay Association of Realtors and IREM. Away from work, Joy likes to stay active and healthy by participating in local 10k running events, attending live music festivals and concerts. She has a passion for cinema and art and spends time with family and friends.

With over 21 years of experience in real estate and property management services, Nicole manages INclave, a cutting-edge live-work-play campus in Marina del Rey, CA. Prior to joining the company, she managed a number of properties, including an eight-story commercial high rise. Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, and Law from Cal Poly Pomona and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys reading, writing, and researching certain topics of interest. She has a great love for animals, and she is also an accomplished snowboarder.

Marissa brings over 15 years of accounting expertise and three years of residential property management experience to her role as Bookkeeper and Property Accountant. With a keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to her work, she efficiently handles accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring financial operations run smoothly. 

Outside of work, Marissa enjoys reading, hiking, and cherishing moments with her two children. Her dedication to both her career and family reflects her balanced approach to life.

Julia is a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and a Minor in Studio Arts. During her college years, she held a leadership role as the Social Media and Member Services Manager at the Burns Recreation Center. In addition to her social media management experience, she also had the opportunity to work as an Influencer Marketing and Public Relations intern at Harmonic Co. in 2019 and as a Marketing Program Assistant at Makai Inc. in 2022. At these positions, she was able to improve on her innovation and creativity, as well as enhance her marketing and program skills.

Outside of her career pursuits, Julia enjoys attending concerts, watching movies, and traveling.

Tony is our company ambassador, making sure our properties are well-maintained and our tenants are happy. A native of Venice, California, Tony attended Venice HighSchool. He became interested in landscaping, and designed indoor and outdoorlandscaping for high-end clients. He continued with his talent and passion for working with his hands by helping to build homes in Bel Air for McCoy Construction, as well as managing units of Warmington Homes as they were being built in Playa Vista.

Tony is a husband and proud father of three children. In his free time, Tony enjoys helping at his daughter’s soccer practices and exploring different cuisines and restaurants in LA with his family.
