Purchase Criteria

SJDC is actively seeking properties to purchase. The Company’s emphasis is value-added opportunities—primarily raw land or existing buildings that require extensive renovation or market repositioning. The Company has been very successful renovating older industrial buildings into new creative office buildings. Although its focus to date has been commercial properties, SJDC is also exploring opportunities with mixed-use and multi-family properties. The Company has a very strong market orientation, and therefore, has concentrated its development projects in the western Los Angeles County area. SJDC is also looking for opportunities in Southern Ventura and Northern Orange Counties also.
